ResponsibilitiesAs an experienced Software Test Engineer with our team, you will be working with our federal clients in support of the rapidly developed innovative solutions addressing immediate mission challenges. The ideal candidate will design, execute, and automate tests for enterprise applications within an Agile environment, ensuring high-quality software that meets security and compliance requirements.Job ResponsibilitiesCreate software tests and automate test cases for enterprise applicationsTranslate user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and requirements into executable test scenariosPerform application testing, validate bugs, and isolate issuesWrite and initiate tests and analyze and report test results in the ticketing systemPerform configuration management, change management, and release managementEvaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategiesDesign, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are metDevelop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architecturesProduce clear test documentation (test plans, test results, scripts, traceability matrices)Document defects and test outcomes in a way that any developer or tester can followAnalyze test cases and provide regular progress reportsIdentify and document problems and issues, providing guidance on root-cause and remediationSupport the presentation and formal review of test resultsEnsure applications meet security and compliance requirementsRequired QualificationsUS Citizenship is required.Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearanceBachelor or Masters degree with 5 years of experience OR associate with 8 years of experience OR high school diploma with 11 years of experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance3‐5 years of software testing experience (both manual and automated)Knowledge of the SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and DevSecOps processesExperience with Agile methodologies and participation in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activitiesExperience conducting functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testingProficiency with test automation frameworksExperience writing automated regression tests using scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScriptExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps pipelines, or AWS CodePipelineExperience validating builds during deployment and testing across various environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod)Desired QualificationsRelevant testing certifications (ISTQB, etc.)Experience with performance, security, or API testingKnowledge of test management toolsCloud testing experienceContainerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)OverviewNoblis and our wholly owned subsidiaries, Noblis ESI and Noblis MSD, take on some of the nation's toughest challenges, delivering advanced solutions to our customers' most critical missions. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on‐call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked.
