This role partners closely with Global Category Managers and business stakeholders to drive cost optimization, ensure continuity of supply, and deliver measurable value through disciplined project execution and strong supplier management.Responsibilities: Category Strategy & Supplier ManagementSupport the development and execution of sourcing strategies for key categories (e.g., pressure sensitive and film materials)Partner with Global Category Managers to implement contracts, supplier strategies, and best practices across North AmericaLead supplier selection, negotiations, and ongoing performance managementEnsure supplier compliance with quality, service, and cost expectationsSupport supplier issue resolution, including quality claims and performance improvement initiativesProject & Program LeadershipLead end-to-end procurement projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budgetBuild and manage project plans, timelines, and risk logs (RAID) while maintaining clear visibility to stakeholdersCoordinate cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, finance, and suppliersFacilitate decision-making, remove obstacles, and escalate risks as neededDrive implementation of sourcing initiatives into operations, ensuring sustainable outcomesAnalytics & Performance ManagementConduct sourcing and cost analyses, including baseline assessments, cost modeling, and supplier benchmarkingTrack and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost savings, supplier performance, and project outcomesDevelop insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-makingContribute to the development of procurement tools, reporting, and dashboardsStakeholder Engagement & Continuous ImprovementAct as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders, aligning procurement initiatives with business prioritiesInfluence and collaborate across functions to drive alignment and accountabilitySupport change management efforts tied to procurement transformation initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve procurement processes, tools, and ways of workingQualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in procurement, category management, project management, or related fieldProven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable business resultsStrong analytical skills, including cost modeling, data analysis, and supplier evaluationExperience managing supplier relationships, sourcing processes, and negotiationsExcellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organizationStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project)Experience in a packaging, manufacturing or industrial environment required.Key CompetenciesStrategic sourcing & category managementProject execution & delivery disciplineStakeholder management and influencing without authorityData-driven decision makingRisk management and problem solvingContinuous improvement mindsetThis role is primarily office-based or home office-based, requiring extended periods of sitting, computer use, occasional walking or light lifting, and may involve brief visits to manufacturing areas; reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed.For over a century, Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) has crafted premium labels for the world's most iconic and recognizable brands.
