IT Compliance Business Analyst

Robert Half's client is seeking an IT Compliance Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity in Torrance, CA.This position requires expertise in IT Compliance along with traditional Business Analyst responsibilities. This person will act as SME and liaison between multiple cross-functional teams, providing compliance expertise, hands-on business analysis, testing, and documentation.Requirements: Must have extensive experience as a full-time business analystThe individual will primarily focus on IT compliance related operational and production support activities. They will also serve as an advocate, consult, and analyst for IT compliance in projects if needed.Ability to perform some scrum duties/light project management, as needed.Ability to identify, create and lead the prioritization and grooming of user stories/features/epics, acceptance criteria and document key decisionsAbility to create test preparation documents, write test scripts, execute test scripts and manage defects.Experience with waterfall, agile and product management frameworks & processes.Experience with Azure DevOps, Clarity, MS Visio, SharePoint or similar tools.Experience driving compliance requirements in one or more areas such as: US Federal and State regulatory requirements, data protection and privacy, accessibility/ADA, SOX compliance, financial and IT audit, procurement, and vendor complianceExperience & knowledge of Salesforce and other financial services systemsExperience with financial services – Loan origination/servicing/insurance or captive finance experience is a plusEducation / Certification:Bachelor's degree is requiredCBAP, AAC, CPOA or equivalent certifications from IIBA - preferredSoft Skills: Ability to operate independently as a driver of projects vs tracking projectStrong verbal skills (Articulate and confident when speaking and leading meetings)Strong written skills (Ability to take good meeting notes, formatting of deliverables, verbiage)Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
