Injection Mold Finishing Operator

Injection Mold Finishing Operator QPS Employment Group has a great Injection Mold Finishing Operator position available at a company in Mason City, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Injection Mold Finishing Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Trim flashing and excess plastic from molded parts using hand tools such as clippers and knives. Perform visual inspections of products to ensure quality standards are met. Notify supervisors or Quality Assurance personnel of any quality concerns or defects. Assist with minor mechanical operations on injection molding machines. Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times. Work cooperatively with team members and follow all company procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned. Injection Mold Finishing Operator Requirements: Strong attention to detail. Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Ability to stand or sit for the duration of the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Eye protection may be required while performing job duties. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or related experience of 3–6 months preferred.
