Director of Engineering, Ads Measurement
Job Description:Lead and grow a high-performing organization of engineering managers and engineers focused on Ads Measurement infrastructure and products Define and execute the technical roadmap for key measurement capabilities including conversion ingestion, attribution, signal quality, lift measurement, and downstream ML signal delivery Drive engineering execution across scalability, reliability, latency, and data quality requirements for critical measurement systems Partner closely with Product, Data Science, ML Engineering, Product Marketing, and Business Development to align technical investments with advertiser and business priorities Improve the quality, usability, and trustworthiness of measurement signals used across reporting, optimization, and ads delivery systems Establish strong engineering practices around system design, operational excellence, experimentation, and long-term platform maintainability Identify architectural gaps, technical risks, and scaling bottlenecks, and drive solutions across organizational boundaries Hire, mentor, and develop engineering leaders and senior engineers while fostering a culture of technical rigor, accountability, and execution velocity Stay current with industry trends in ads measurement, attribution, and signal resilience in a rapidly evolving ecosystem Requirements:10+ years of software engineering experience, including experience leading engineering teams and organizations in the ads or measurement domain Experience leading engineering managers and senior engineers in building large-scale distributed systems and data-intensive platforms Strong technical understanding of ads measurement systems and technologies such as conversion APIs, pixel infrastructure, attribution systems, signal quality, and lift measurement Experience building or operating systems that support ML optimization, ads delivery, reporting, or experimentation use cases Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives across engineering, product, data science, and go-to-market teams Strong systems thinking with the ability to balance long-term architecture, execution speed, and operational reliability Excellent communication and organizational leadership skills, with experience aligning teams around technical strategy and business priorities Familiarity with the evolving ads measurement ecosystem and industry trends impacting attribution and signal reliability.
