Packaging TechnicianThis position is responsible for the proper assembly, labeling, and quality of supplies.If the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.ResponsibilitiesReview batch paperwork to understand and perform packaging procedures required for the assemblyClean packaging rooms and machinery as neededPerform manual and automated filling and packaging of products independently, while approving labeling and checking the quality of the process.Count out and prepare packages to ensure proper packaging.Perform final checks of work in-process and finished products and pack goods into appropriately labeled containers or boxes.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED.Attention to detail to prevent quality mistakes.Willingness and ability to work mandatory overtime as needed.Good handwriting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred experience in manufacturing or production environments, or warehouse experience.Candidates with proven tenure in roles such as fast food or retail may be considered if they perform well in interviews.Enjoy outstanding benefits and the opportunity to work in a pivotal role within the business. The position involves internal contact with all production operation employees, engineering, inventory, and quality assurance personnel. External contact is limited to client personnel observing packaging operations.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.25/hr.
