Production Associate II

We are searching for the best talent for Production Associate II (1st/2nd Shift).You will be responsible for:Process polymer materials to compose, test, or apply on medical devices per approved manufacturing proceduresAssemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing proceduresPerform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished productUtilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixturesParticipate in line meetings as neededWork with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvementsMaintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adherence to clean room environment practice and proceduresFully understand and maintains accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor (e.g., timecards), and special projectsApply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activitiesAdhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, and FDA regulationsQualifications / Requirements:High School Graduate or equivalent manufacturing experience4 or more years of medical device manufacturing experience with relevant microscope experience or 2 or more years of intensive microscope job related experience in a Class III medical device companyMust have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with small plastic and metal components in a high volume manufacturing settingKnowledge of lean, six sigma, kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives a plus.Ability to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to utilize basic math skillsExecute tasks in a timely manner under general supervision.Computer literacy required, Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite desiredMeet all requirements outlined for Production Associate IIWilling to work either 1st shift (7am-3pm) or 2nd shift (3:30p-11:30pm)Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
