Job Title: Material Handler Job Location: Reading, PA, 19605 Shift Time *** 6am – 230pm – Mon -Fri with overtime as needed. Summary Material Handler – However their main responsibility will be POS – working alongside production to make sure they have the materials they need. replace broken or defective material, making sure material is issued to jobs. Making sure inventory is updated in the system. Plus may learn other functions of the warehouse. Roles & Responsibilities The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. · This is work which requires the following physical activities: sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, climb (steps & ladders up to 10 ft) twisting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity, Push carts and or storage racks · Extended periods of standing are routine, and the job will require the ability to lift 25 lbs up to 50 lbs occasionally. · This is an active position with 90% of day moving in warehouse environment.
