Java Developer - Client Central Technology

Overview In this role you will help modernize a legacy platform into a scalable, future-ready solution that improves how internal representatives serve clients. You’ll collaborate with engineers, product owners, and architects to deliver web platforms that blend Angular UIs with Java services. You will own end-to-end delivery for smaller initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and promote reusable internal frameworks. The work focuses on workflow efficiency, AI-enabled capabilities, and cross-team alignment in a fast-paced environment. ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery for smaller initiatives, translating requirements into scalable designs and reliable production outcomesCollaborate with engineers, product owners, and architects to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutionsMentor and support junior engineers, sharing knowledge and feedbackContribute to building internal frameworks adopted across the organizationDesign and implement modern web platforms integrating Angular UIs with Java servicesApply problem solving and analytical thinking to streamline workflows and enable AI-driven capabilitiesCoordinate work across distributed teams and manage dependencies in an agile environment Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field6+ years building large-scale, highly available systems using Java, Spring, cloud development, and web services4+ years with containers and microservices in cloud environments4+ years with Angular (component-based architecture, RxJS, routing, testing, performance tuning)4+ years delivering applications through CI/CD pipelines2+ years experience with PCF, AWS, and/or GCP2+ years working with MongoDB, Aerospike, Redis, and SQL ServerStrong OO design, collaboration across product management, architecture, and engineeringExperience coordinating work across distributed teams in Agile environmentsStrong communication skillscollaborationcommunicationownershipJavaSpringcloud development
