Electronics Assembler
Semiconductor Manufacturing OperatorThis position involves operating semiconductor-processing equipment in a cleanroom environment. The manufacturing operator is responsible for meeting daily production goals to support cleanroom fabrication operations. Areas of concentration include photolithography, pattern transfer via wet and dry etching techniques, substrate cleaning via wet chemistry, and metrology.Responsibilities:Operate manually- or computer-controlled equipment to meet production and quality goals.Set up and operate complex manual and computer-controlled equipment.Work constructively with other team members to process wafers and optical components.Utilize computer software to track operational performance and make minor corrections to improve productivity.Follow quality management procedures and identify quality issues.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Multitask to perform other required duties as assigned by a supervisor.Essential Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.Ability to perform light lifting and carrying duties.Ability to sit and/or stand for an extended period of time (3-5 hrs).High-school diploma or GED.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Previous manufacturing experience in a cleanroom environment is preferred.Microscope experience and manual dexterity.Willingness to learn and ability to learn complex machinery.Experience with electronics assembly, soldering, circuit boards, and semiconductor manufacturing.Why Work Here?Enjoy a competitive benefits package including up to 6% 401k company match and a 7% bonus if company revenue targets are met. Duties involve periodic handling of chemicals. Shifts are 12-hour rotations with day and night options, offering a shift differential. Breaks include three 30-minute sessions, with the option to combine for a longer lunch. Onsite cafeteria and breakroom facilities are available. Guaranteed 8 hours of overtime pay every other week.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Breinigsville, PA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $30.00/hr.
