Job Title: Senior Azure Cloud EngineerJob Location: Fremont, CAEngagement: ContractorExperience: Minimum 10 YearsPay Rate - $58-$60 per hourNote: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (W2 basis)We’re looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer / Cloud Infrastructure ExpertIf designing, building, and scaling enterprise‑grade Azure data platforms excites you, this role is worth a look.What you’ll doDesign, build, and support Azure data services including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, ADLS, Event Hub, Service Bus, Redis Cache, MS Fabric, and Azure SynapseBuild and scale Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, Bicep, or AnsibleCreate and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for infrastructure, schema changes, patching, and automationTroubleshoot complex issues across networking, identity, performance, and platform integrationImplement automation for backups, disaster recovery, monitoring, patching, and configuration drift detectionSupport AKS clusters for data microservices, including scaling, storage, networking, and observabilityEnforce security and compliance using Azure Policy, RBAC, Managed Identities, and private endpointsOptimize performance, capacity, and cloud cost for data workloadsCollaborate with developers, data engineers, and security teamsDocument standards, procedures, and automation for operational continuityWhat you bring10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, or data platform engineering6+ years of hands‑on Azure engineering experienceDeep expertise in Azure data services (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Synapse, ADLS, Event Hub, Key Vault, MS Fabric)Strong Infrastructure‑as‑Code skills using Terraform, Bicep, or AnsibleProficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShellStrong experience with AKS/Kubernetes, Helm, operators, and data workloadsSolid cloud networking and security expertise (VNETs, private endpoints, Azure AD, RBAC)Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and GrafanaAbility to collaborate cross‑functionally and influence architectural decisions
