This role is best suited for a craftsman who takes pride in precision, detail, and delivering a high-quality finished product. You are highly skilled, self-motivated, and capable of executing detailed work with minimal oversight. You understand the expectations of high-end construction and consistently produce clean, precise, and polished results. You present yourself professionally, communicate clearly, and work well alongside project managers, designers, and other trades in client-facing environments.Key Responsibilities & Skills:Read and interpret architectural and millwork shop drawingsExecute layout and installation with tight, consistent tolerancesInstall custom paneling, base, crown, and specialty moldingsHang doors with precise, even reveals and proper hardware alignmentScribe materials to uneven existing conditions typical of NYC apartments and townhousesDeliver clean lines and seamless transitions with minimal punch list workIdentify and communicate issues before they impact schedule or qualityMaintain a clean, organized, and client-ready jobsite at all timesCoordinate effectively with project managers, designers, and other tradesRequirements:Minimum 7+ years of carpentry experience (high-end residential strongly preferred)Proven ability to deliver tight, clean finish work with strong attention to detailStrong understanding of sequencing and coordination with other tradesMust have own professional-grade tools appropriate for finish carpentryAuthorized to work in the U.S.Ability to communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to work independently and problem-solve in the fieldAbility to lift and carry materials up to 80 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodationReliable, punctual, and professional
