Key Details: Start Date: March 24, 2025 End Date: Ongoing (with the potential for extension) Location: Near Collins, MO Practice Setting: Outpatient (Emergency Department) Shift Type: Day and Night shifts available (please specify preference) Schedule: Clinical hours only, no call coverage required Position Requirements: Specialty: Emergency Medicine Provider Type: Physician (Board Eligible or Board Certified) Certification Requirements: ACLS (preferred) ATLS (required) PALS (required) BLS (preferred) License Requirements: Licensed in Missouri (MO) EMR System: Epic Facility & Patient Care: Emergency Department: 7 beds with approximately 8,000 visits per year Patient Volume: 15-30 patients per shift Case Types: Emergent and acute care cases including MVA, stroke, chest pain, cardiac arrest, intubations, chest tubes, paracentesis, and more. Trauma Level: 0 Pediatrics: Emergency Department is equipped to handle newborn deliveries and pediatric cases, though the facility is not designated as a Level I or II trauma center. Support Staff: The locum will work with 3 RNs, 1 MA, and 1 office staff. There is no requirement to supervise advanced practice providers.
