Cloud Operations Specialist (2 year contract)

Location: Hybrid - Austin (2 days onsite per week) Rate: $55-65/hr Overview An Energy organization is seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Specialist to support and optimize cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on cloud architecture, automation, security, and operational performance across enterprise cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, including tenant structure, connectivity, and architecture. Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and support CI/CD pipelines. Implement cloud security, compliance policies, and backup/recovery strategies. Monitor cloud performance and costs while driving automation and operational improvements. Requirements 5–7 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments. Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation tools.
