Full Stack Python Developer

OverviewWe are seeking experienced Full Stack Python Developers to support a high-visibility Department of Defense initiative focused on building and deploying advanced cloud-based applications that enable data-driven decision making across mission-critical environments.This is a hands-on engineering role for developers who enjoy designing, building, scaling, and deploying modern applications. Successful candidates will help develop custom solutions using Python, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks while working closely with cloud engineers, data professionals, and mission stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain full stack web applications supporting mission-critical initiativesBuild custom applications and dashboards using Python-based frameworks such as Dash and FlaskDevelop modern user interfaces utilizing React.js and JavaScriptCreate scalable APIs, backend services, and data integration solutionsDeploy, monitor, and maintain applications within cloud environmentsOptimize application performance, reliability, and scalabilityCollaborate with engineers, analysts, data scientists, and government stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutionsParticipate in agile development activities including sprint planning, code reviews, and solution design sessionsTroubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and performance issuesContribute to architecture decisions and best practices for modern software developmentRequired QualificationsActive TS/SCI clearance preferred; active Secret clearance will be consideredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)Strong hands-on software development experience using PythonExperience developing full stack web applicationsProficiency with JavaScript and modern front-end developmentExperience with React.jsExperience building applications using Flask and/or DashExperience developing RESTful APIs and backend servicesExperience deploying and maintaining cloud-based applicationsStrong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and source control processesAbility to work independently and within a collaborative team environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting DoD, federal civilian, or national security programsExperience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudExperience with containerization technologies including Docker and KubernetesExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practicesExperience supporting data visualization and analytics platformsExperience integrating large-scale datasets into custom applicationsFamiliarity with Qlik products and business intelligence solutionsExperience collaborating with data scientists and analytics teams
