Job DescriptionRCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a local contract Speech Language Pathologist for a local contract job in Dearborn, Michigan.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Speech Language PathologistDiscipline: TherapyStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hoursEmployment Type: Local ContractSpeech Language Pathologist (SLP), in person, school based, full or part time\n\nRCM is looking for a full or part time school based SLPs to provide therapy services to school students in and around the Dearborn, MI area for the remainder of this school year AND 2026/2027 school year. W2 contact, full time is 37.5 hours per week. IN PERSON at the elementary school location only. Also accepting part time applicants.\n\nQualifications\n\n\tState of Michigan certification as a teacher of the speech and language impaired preferred.\n\tSB endorsement and/or Clinical Competence Certificate required\n\tAn earned master's degree in speech and language pathology.\n\tA minimum of sixty (60) semester hours of academic credit in normal aspects of human communication, development, and clinical techniques for evaluation and management of speech and language disorders as described in State rule R340.1796.\n\tA minimum of 300 clock hours of supervised practicum experience with persons who present a variety of communication disorders.\n\tEarly Childhood or Elementary education certification preferred.\n\tDemonstrated skills in assessment and treatment of articulation, language, voice, and fluency impairment.\n\tWillingness to learn in district-specific strategies related to language acquisition skills.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n\tAssist early elementary general education teachers in facilitating language acquisition skills and sound awareness skills. Support strategies will include the use of modeling, lessons, and team teaching.\n\tAct as a liaison between school and home to foster parent involvement.\n\tParticipate as a member on intervention team meetings to assist general education teachers with strategies to support children who are at risk in the area of language acquisition.\n\tConducts speech/language evaluations and determines eligibility in accordance with the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE).\n\tManage caseload assignment; develop and implement IEPs.\n\tMaintains and submits records and reports in a timely fashion.\n\tDemonstrates proficiency in written and oral communication.\n\tExhibit positive interpersonal skills and is able to work collaboratively.\n\tAdheres to school system rules, administrative procedures, local board policies, and state and federal rules\n\tand regulations.\n\tEngages in personal professional growth and demonstrates professional ethics and leadership.\n\tTravel between multiple buildings.\n\nSchedule:\n\n\n\tSchool Year - Full Time - Will follow Academic Calendar - 37.5 hours per week\n\nBenefits:\n\n\n\tMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\n\tLife and Disability insurance\n\t401K Flex Spending\n\tReferral Bonus Program\n\tWeekly Direct Deposit\n\nCompensation:\n\n\n\t$50-$55/hour - based on experience \n\nAbout Us:\nRCM Health Care Services' mission is to provide opportunities for qualified candidates across medical professions.
