Test Technician

*Role: Integration/Test Engineer- Contractor- L3* *Location: Malabar, FL (ONSITE)* *Duration: 12 months /Temp to Perm* *Description:* 1. Responsible for performing the integration and/or test of all components, ensuring electrical and physical compatibility to meet program technical, schedule and cost objectives. 2. In support of system design activities, responsible for test and/or integration of COTS-based electromechanical systems from the system design phase through development, documentation, installation and commissioning of the completed system. 3. Integration responsibilities may include design, develop and implement integration plans for procedures for hardware, software, and facilities. 4. Responsible for the physical and electrical compatibility of functional interfaces and first article product integration, ensuring seamless interface between the design and production of systems. 5. Testing responsibilities may include analyzes requirements for testability issues. 6. Develops and implements both hardware and software system level test programs, plans, specifications, procedures and customer acceptance. 7. Plans and leads test working groups, test readiness reviews. Conducts testability and producibility analyses and reviews. 8. Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project management. 9. May manage projects or processes with general supervision. 10. Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures. 11. Recommends enhancements to systems and processes. 12. Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results. *What is a typical work day?* · They must understand, execute and troubleshoot NI-Test Stand sequences. · Interface test adaptor that route signals to the test sets, they would exercise the software and then look at the ITA for results for the wiring. · Would prefer electrical engineers but will take a mechanical engineer. *Must- Haves (Hard Skills):* · Candidate must an expert in NI Test Stand tools (need to be a 7-8 on Test Stand and knowledge) *Degree/Certification Requirements:* · Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
