Sales Representative
Vya is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Sales Executive who thrives on building new relationships, opening doors, and generating net-new business opportunities. This role is ideal for someone energized by prospecting, networking, cold outreach, and creating opportunities through persistence and strategic selling. The ideal candidate brings a consultative sales approach, a strong sense of urgency, and a proven track record of independently developing and closing business in a fast-paced environment. Experience in print solutions, print production, promotional products, managed print services, or related industries is strongly preferred, but not required for candidates with demonstrated success in complex B2B sales. As a Sales Executive at Vya, you will partner closely with clients, internal project teams, purchasing specialists, and production partners to identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and drive long-term client growth. Success in this role requires high activity levels, disciplined pipeline management, exceptional communication skills, and relentless focus on prospecting and relationship building. Job Type: Full-time Reporting to: COO Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Be an avid Vya ambassador, always embodying The Vya Way. Utilize consultative sales techniques to identify customer pain points and effectively communicate solutions. Prospect and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, email campaigns, industry events, and other outbound sales activities. Maintain consistent daily prospecting activity levels with a strong emphasis on building and advancing pipeline opportunities. Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas. Managing prospect activities in an effective and consistent manner to increase qualified sales leads. Attend conferences, networking events, trade shows, and industry functions to expand relationships and identify new opportunities. Research accounts that match the ideal customer profile, identify the right accounts to target, and key stakeholders. Create target prospect list and align sales activities appropriately based on research findings. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Identify new potential opportunities through self-created efforts, referrals, or marketing generation. Leverage knowledge of commercial print, digital print, large format, direct mail, promotional products, and fulfillment solutions to guide client recommendations. Ability to qualify or disqualify opportunities quickly through discovery processes. Assist clients in selecting cost-effective and high-quality print solutions that align with project objectives and budgets. Provides regular status reports to management on key performance indicators and activity; assesses performance against goals, identifies trends, and communicates action plans to address current challenges. Enter, update, and maintain CRM system with prospect and contact information to feed pipeline, track activity, and ensure consistency and accuracy. Develops and manages relationships with acquired and/or existing customers to position Vya a SME and aligns with decision makers. Develops action plans to cross-sell/up sell accounts to increase revenue spend with Vya. Provides comprehensive strategic account plans to win new business from new and/or existing accounts. Collaborate with internal teams to create customized solutions that address client challenges and provide a competitive edge. Demonstrated ability in solution-based sales, account management, and technical solutions. Self-motivated, proactive, results oriented professional. Proven track record of prospecting, closing and bringing on new clients. Experienced in preparing Proposals and SOW's. Attend conferences and events when appropriate to network with prospects and stay up to date on industry trends. Position Qualifications: 4+ years of successful sales experience. Demonstrated hunter mentality with proven ability to generate new business independently. Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems and Microsoft Office Proficient. Strong understanding and experience utilizing consultative sales methodology. Exceptional self-starter with high initiative and energy. Highly tech-savvy with the ability to quickly grasp complex software solutions.
