Welder (3rd Shift)Job OverviewA 3rd Shift Welder for Bastian Automation will be responsible for general welding/fitting producing weldments for material equipment projects. The main emphasis for this position is welding/fitting, other duties to include fabrication, assembly, and painting of projects as well as general repair and maintenance of Bastian Automation shop equipment. A Welder will be responsible for maintaining tolerances and dimensions specified by individual print. A Welder I will have 1-2 years of experience in the welding/fitting field.Shift3rd shiftJob FunctionsWith guidance ability to build high quality welded parts from blueprints with low rejection rate. **Must maintain tolerances detailed on blueprints With guidance works from sketches/drawings to produce parts from sheet metal, plate, bar stock, and aluminum Keep workspace in a neat and organized order Show mutual respect for coworkers Show up to work every day on time. Sunday to Thurs 10:30 pm to 7 amMaintain a positive attitude Overtime required when necessary Follow safety protocols per JSA (Job Safety Analysis) Travel RequirementsNo travel for this positionRequired Qualifications And Preferred SkillsRelevant welding experience required.
