The successful candidate will be an experienced IT leader with a background in healthcare or health plan management. Responsibilities for this role include architecting and implementing complex data management and business intelligence capabilities, as well as leading and managing a team within an IT setting. The VP of IT will be a key player in aligning IT with the company's business strategy, ensuring that IT effectively supports and enhances the overall mission and operations.To be considered for the Vice President of IT position, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience/education, with a preference for those who have worked in a health plan or managed care organization. A minimum of 10-15 years' extensive experience in the field is required, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and dynamic individual who can demonstrate a deep understanding of current and evolving business strategy and how to best support that strategy from an IT perspective.
