The ideal candidate has a keen interest in the music industry and is eager to develop their accounting acumen. Responsible for all areas of royalty administration, including, but not limited to publishing administration, record label administration, licensing, copyright registration and royalty statement analysis, and the supervision of staff.What Will You Do?Oversee daily operations and workflow of the Royalty Department Assign tasks and maintain the workflow of the Royalty Department Review and approve staff work product Read and interpret complex royalty agreements Oversee issuance of royalty statements Oversee tracking and prepare reports for client meetings Liaise with Account Managers and Partners within the Firm to accomplish shared goals in a professional and diplomatic manner Liaise with external companies and clients Meet hard reporting deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude under pressure Supervise and manage staff, be on-site to answer questions, train and review performance.
