EVS Aide SurgeryDescription:Performs a variety routine and specialized housekeeping related duties in the cleaning of both sterile and no sterile areas including but not limited to: Operating Room Suites, Procedure Rooms, Central Sterile Processing and Central Sterile Supply areasCleans and sanitizes the Operating Room suites after procedures using proper techniques per Infection Control policies and proceduresPrimary responsibility is for the effective use of proper methods and material in cleaning and caring for the spaces and equipmentAble to follow instructions and approved cleaning schedulesAbility to handle stress and interact effectively with others in the workplaceMaintains a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors and staffDemonstrates effective implementation of technical skillsPerforms other dutiesEducation/Experience:High school graduate or equivalent preferredExperience in the terminal cleaning of the sterile environment within a healthcare setting is preferred.Perks/Benefits:(for eligible employees):Have optimal opportunity for career growth within our growing organizationMedical / DentalRetirement PlanPTO and paid life insuranceWhat Sets Us ApartArchbold Medical Center is a four-hospital, four-nursing-home health system with 540 patient beds.
