With over 110 family-owned dairies and multiple processing plants and joint ventures nationwide, our partnership connects us to a powerful network driving the future of food and nutrition.Join us-and help shape what's next.What Select offers you:Comprehensive benefits package focusing on your physical, financial and emotional health to include the following perks as well as the standard benefit offerings (health, dental, vision, etc.):Paid Time OffPaid Holidays OffUniform ProgramShoe AllowanceOnsite gymCareer Advancement OpportunitiesLeadership DevelopmentOpportunities to support our local communitiesChance to apply best practices in sustainability and environmental initiativesCommitment to producing high quality nutritious products and providing nourishment around the worldWhat this role is all about:We are looking for a Quality Assurance Compliance Technician in La Crosse, WI.Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmLocation: Hybrid, post-training periodThe Quality Assurance Compliance Technician assists in maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality programs for day to day facility operations.Job Duties:Approve raw material for use including: ingredients, packaging components, and finished retail labels.Ensure electronic blend sheets are correct before the sheets are released to the production floor.Assist with 3rd party, customer, and Quality Expectation Manual (QEM) audits as needed.Write or update Standard Operating Procedures as needed and assigned by Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist or Quality Assurance Compliance Supervisor.Complete customer document requests, including customer surveys, in a timely manner.Create technical worksheets such as Specification sheets, Allergen Statements, and Safety Data Sheets as assigned by the Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist or Quality Assurance Compliance Supervisor.Perform environmental swabbing on a rotational basis with direction from the Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist.Maintain CAPA investigations and implementations in the management system with guidance from Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist or Quality Assurance Compliance Supervisor when necessary.Ensure the allergen program is maintained.File/organize documents as needed or assigned.Perform review of Batch Production Records for Dietary Supplements.Generate and review Master Manufacturing Records.Assist Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist or Quality Assurance Compliance Supervisor as needed.Responsible for food safety and food quality.Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.Safety Protocol:Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.Correct or report any observed safety hazards.Support safety policies and programs.This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.Qualifications:Education Required:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related science field preferred.Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.Experience Required:Minimum one (1) year of experience in Regulatory or Quality preferred.Where you'll be working:Our La Crosse, WI, plant is home to approximately 330 employees.
