From nursing staffing, temp to hire, and permanent healthcare contracts, 10bits provides hospitals and medical facilities with high-quality clinical professionals with the highest standards and compliance to provide the best medical care.  Job Title:  Assembly Technician Job Location:  San Francisco, CA 94107 Job Type: Contract - 3 months Job Duties:  * Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical production units and subassemblies according to released drawings, work instructions, and build documentation. * Perform repeatable production builds of wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and electro-mechanical integrations to defined quality standards. * Install and connect compute, control, power, and sensor systems following established procedures. * Conduct prescribed functional tests, inspections, and basic calibration steps to verify build completeness and quality. * Identify build defects, missing components, or out-of-spec conditions and escalate issues to manufacturing or engineering leads. * Rework or repair production units as directed using approved processes and documentation. * Maintain organized workstations, tools, and production materials to support efficient throughput. * Support kitting, material handling, and inventory accuracy for production builds. * Follow ESD, safety, and quality requirements during all assembly and test activities. * Accurately record build status, serial numbers, and production data in tracking systems. * Assist with factory integration, final assembly, and shipment preparation as needed. * Provide feedback on work instructions and tooling to improve clarity and repeatability. Job Requirements: * Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment, such as aerospace, construction, automotive, or electrical service industries. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics. * Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, hydraulic and pneumatics. * Ability to perform electrical wire terminations and connect wires between individual component leads, connectors, terminals, and contact points. * Ability to work in a stimulating, demanding, and rapidly advancing environment at the forefront of technological innovation. * Basic English skills - ability to read and understand written instructions and effectively communicate verbally. * Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. * Nice to Have Experience producing electrical or electro-mechanical sub-assemblies by following engineering prints, wiring diagrams, component lists, wire inventories, preliminary sketches, and direct verbal instruction. * Nice to Have Experience with disassembling, modifying, reworking, refurbishing, and reassembling components. * Nice to Have Experience with factory integration, final assembly, and shipment preparation. * Nice to Have Experience with autonomous delivery robots, robotics, or similar automation solutions * Must have 2+ years of Experience in mechanical/electrical assembly * Must have experience in drone assembly or drone industry Schedule: * 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM * Monday - Friday HC01 Pay: $44.00 per hour Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: * Mechanical/electrical assembly: 2 years (Required) * drone assembly or drone industry: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
