Role Description
This isn't your typical CloudOps Engineer role. You'll be at the center of our AWS infrastructure—provisioning and maintaining production environments, optimizing spend, and helping keep services running for our customers. Working as part of our DevOps team, you'll provide technical guidance on designing and deploying applications and services in AWS, and you'll help coordinate work with our offshore engineers to keep projects moving forward. If you've ever spent a Saturday morning happily tidying up AWS accounts or writing cost-saving automation scripts, you'll feel right at home here.
What You'll Work With:
AWS Organizations and multi-account management
Production infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance
AWS billing, savings plans, and reserved instance contracts
Splunk for log management, monitoring, and analysis
Record streaming and reporting pipelines
Confluence for documentation and knowledge management
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure management
Strong proficiency with Splunk and cloud monitoring tools
Experience managing AWS Organizations and multi-account environments
Solid understanding of AWS billing and cost optimization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Someone comfortable leading and delegating work to an offshore team
Someone who takes ownership and digs into problems until they're resolved
Important
This position requires U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status (green card). Visa sponsorship or transfer is not available for this role. You must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Additional
This is a full-time, remote position (must be based in the U.S.). On-call rotation covers weekdays and weekends for AWS production resources.
