Key ResponsibilitiesServe as subject matter expert on hydraulic axial piston variable displacement pump technologyAnalyze internal pump mechanisms to diagnose issues and develop technical solutionsInterpret test data, graphs, and performance results to troubleshoot system behavior and drive improvementsSupport current product maintenance while contributing to future R&D initiativesCollaborate with test labs, supply chain, and engineering teams to validate performance and resolve issuesProvide technical guidance without heavy involvement in detailed CAD design—focus on concept validation and system-level thinkingAct as a liaison between engineering teams and leadership, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insightsIdentify opportunities for improvement in performance, reliability, and manufacturabilityMust-HavesBachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringHands-on experience with hydraulic axial piston variable displacement pumps - critical requirementStrong ability to analyze test data and performance metrics to drive engineering decisionsDeep understanding of hydraulic systems and pressure management (e.g., ~3,000 psi applications)Proven track record of problem-solving within complex mechanical systemsAbility to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersExperience working cross-functionally with engineering, lab, and supply chain teams
