Education: Bachelor’s degree in Vascular Ultrasound, an allied health discipline, or a health/science field. An Associate’s degree with formal training in Vascular Ultrasound is acceptable.PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (If none, please enter “N/A”): Bachelor’s degree in Vascular Ultrasound or related field. Experience working as the sole technologist in an outpatient facility. Extensive knowledge of IAC accreditation requirements and guidelines for vascular ultrasound. Strong commitment to continuing education and keep up-to-date with the lates advancements in vascular ultrasound.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED (If none, please enter “N/A”): Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) certification required.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSAs) (If none, please enter “N/A”): Expertise in performing and interpreting a full spectrum of vascular duplex and physiologic examinations, including but not limited to carotid, abdominal aorta, renal, mesenteric, arterial, venous, and venous reflux studies across normal, abnormal, and post-treatment states. Strong knowledge of vascular pathology and hemodynamics. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-demand outpatient setting. Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on patient education and collaboration with physicians.
