This role is ideal for intermediate-level technicians ready to take ownership of independent installs, assist with troubleshooting, and contribute to team-wide project success.You'll be a key player in delivering high-quality, professional installations while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. We're a practical, field-first organization, who supports your growth through hands-on learning, exposure to diverse projects, and opportunities to build your skills in the field and beyond.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Technical TasksPerform independent installation of access control systems, security cameras, and alarm systems.Complete cabling, conduit work, wire termination, and hardware mounting with precision.Execute basic system programming and assist senior technicians on complex programming.Troubleshooting & SupportDiagnose and resolve standard technical and connectivity issues in the field.Provide on-site customer support and document all service resolutions.Escalate advanced technical issues appropriately to senior staff.Operational EfficiencyMaintain clean, organized work environments and adhere to safety standards.Follow company SOPs and document all completed work in project management tools.Ensure proper care and use of tools, vehicles, and equipment.Team Support & MentorshipMentor and guide junior technicians (Tech I) in installation techniques and safety practices.Collaborate with senior technicians and supervisors to ensure successful project execution.Offer insights into job-site challenges and process improvement opportunities.QualificationsRequired Experience & EducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.5+ years of experience in access control, low-voltage systems, or IT/network installations.Technical certifications preferred but not required at time of hire.Technical SkillsStrong familiarity with access control, CCTV, structured cabling, and hardware installation.Skilled with hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and documentation software.Ability to read technical drawings and perform standard system integrations.CertificationsRequired:OSHA 10 CertificationBICSI Level I CertificationPreferred:OSHA 30 Certification (or willingness to complete within 18 months)BICSI Level II Copper Certification (to be completed within 12 months)Manufacturer certifications in access control, CCTV, or networkingSoft SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.Self-motivated, punctual, and a team player.BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanPaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Days, and Holidays)Weekly Pay CycleCompany Vehicle & Mileage ReimbursementUniforms and Safety Gear ProvidedPer Diem for Travel ProjectsPaid Training & Industry CertificationsTeam Events and Professional Development OpportunitiesScheduleFull-Time | Monday-FridayOccasional overtime or weekend work depending on project timelinesLocationField-based role with travel across job sites (travel required)Equal Employment OpportunityWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
