Support Staff - Receptionist

The Front Desk Receptionist provides primary communication and administration support, serving as the first point of contact and helping ensure smooth daily operation. All activities as an employee of Northland Counseling Center, Inc. will be performed in an ethical, professional manner and in accordance with the policies and procedures of Northland Counseling Center, Inc. and will be subject to supervision and/or oversite.Greeting clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.Answering, transferring, and prioritizing phone calls appropriately.Scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling client appointments, updating client arrivals or no-show/cancellations, and setting up and organizing appointments.Assisting clinicains and medication providers with scheduling and other administrative tasks.Coordinating with the Intake Coordinator, Office Manager, Therapists, and Medication Providers.Maintaining the waiting area and updating any signage or notices.Monitoring emails and responding in a prompt, prioritized, and professional manner.Ensuring HIPPA compliance and maintaining confidentiality in all forms of communication or action.
