Additionally, we offer Specialized Consultative Services for TBI and Innovations Medicaid Waivers.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site role for a Recreational Therapist located in Wilmington, NC. The Recreational Therapist will work directly with clients and their caregivers to design and implement individualized therapeutic recreation plans that promote independence and enhance quality of life. Responsibilities include assessing client needs, creating goal-oriented activity plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals and support networks. This role involves travel to client homes and community settings.QualificationsStrong skills in therapeutic recreation planning, adaptive activity development, and implementation of evidence-based interventionsProficiency in patient assessment, documentation, and goal-setting for individuals with disabilities and various health challengesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teamsAbility to work independently in a flexible, community-based environmentLicensed Recreational Therapist (LRT) and Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credentialsExperience working with individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, or other neurological and developmental conditions is highly preferredReliable transportation and a valid driver’s license; as the role requires local travelBachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreational Therapy, or a related fieldTo apply:Email resume to admin@recreateyourselfllc.com with the subject line: Wilmington Recreational Therapist Application
