We are seeking an Equipment Operator to support aerial and underground fiber-construction projects. This role operates heavy equipment, assists field crews, performs routine equipment checks, and helps ensure safe and efficient job-site operations. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, and travel to job sites—including overnight out-of-town assignments—is required.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSOperate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, trenchers, skid steers, and rock sawsPerform excavation, trenching, backfilling, and site preparationAssist crews with groundwork and installation tasksComplete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needsFollow all safety procedures and maintain awareness of underground and overhead utilitiesLoad, unload, and secure equipment and materialsWork outdoors in all weather and terrain conditionsTravel to job sites, including overnight out-of-town assignments; overtime may be requiredParticipate in required training and perform traffic control as neededCOMPANY BENEFITS - We Invest In You — your career, your success, and your future.
