Short Description:This position is assigned to the Bureau of Enterprise Technology Services Office. Responsible for advanced technical work in support of highly complex and critical technology systems that support PSPs Active Directory, Printers and Server Administration.Complete Description:***This requisition is funded through 6/30/27, so use that date in the RTR. Please note contract end date is dependent on the final schedule and projected needs. Historically, additional funding occurs in 1-year increments.***Work Location: In-officedaily to start, progressing to telework (hybrid with two days onsite (1800 Elmerton Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17110)). Schedule can be discussed during interview.Work hours: 8AM to 5PM (hourlong lunch)Start date can be ID'd upon after compliant PATCH and PSP background checks related to employment and CJIS policies have been processed and approved.Candidate must go onsite on their first day to pick up commonwealth-issued equipment, badging, etc.PositionPurpose:This individual must be able to comprehend enterprise ITpolicies, initiatives and perform the necessary actions to comply with thesepolicies. When necessary, assist users and other IT groups when troubleshootingissues and act as a liaison with vendors. Work assignments are provided withspecific instructions and objectives along with the expected completion dates.This position provides technical execution of their assigned duties andresponsibilities.This position is in the Bureau of Enterprise TechnologyServices Office currently assigned to the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) andis located at PSP Department Headquarters. This position functions as thetechnical expert and agency point of contact for infrastructure serveradministration, Active Directory and Printer administration. This positionsupports IT Staff and the PSP business. This position is responsible forsystems deployed in all facilities, field sites, commonwealth managed datacenters, and disaster recovery locations.***Please note the user/server administration team remotely administers managing the file and prints. Others go onsite. Establish ActiveDirectory security group provisioning standards, Naming conventions, GroupPolicy Object deployment, Domain controller deployment, operation, andmaintenance.Act as the agency point of contact for communicationsregarding the Commonwealth's implementation of Microsoft Active Directory, Useraccount provisioning services, and Antivirus/Intrusion protection products.PSP CUPSS/AD admin - Using CUPSS to create ADaccounts – resource accounts, distribution lists, service accounts, testaccounts, training accounts, and security groupsPSP CUPSS/AD admin - Approving/denyingprivileged accounts in CUPSSPSP CUPSS/AD admin - Troubleshooting accountissuesPSP CUPSS/AD admin - Configuring user accountsPSP CUPSS/AD admin - Assist End user supportwith User Transfers, Group Memberships and Password resetsPSP CUPSS/AD admin - Suspending and reactivatinguser accounts in CUPSSPSP CUPSS/AD admin - Cadet and LEO accountmanagementDesign and supervise the implementation of standards fordeployment of infrastructure server operational roles.
