DescriptionResponsibilities:Assist the head chef in preparing and cooking mealsOversee and manage the kitchen staff in the absence of the head chefEnsure that all food is prepared and presented according to established recipes and quality standardsMonitor inventory levels and order supplies as neededMaintain a clean and organized kitchen areaCollaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and specialsTrain and mentor junior kitchen staff, continuing development of staff and new training techniques.RequirementsPrevious experience as a sous chef or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulationsExcellent leadership and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredJob Types: Part-timeShift Day shift Evening shift Morning shiftWeekly Day Range Monday to Friday Every WeekendExperience Culinary experience: 4 years (Preferred) Cooking: 4 years (Preferred)
