Property Manager-Self Storage

Job description:Turtle Creek Management is a Indianapolis based company seeking a Property Manager to oversee operations at a new self-storage facility in Mason, Ohio. This role will work closely with the Regional Manager on duties related to opening newly built facility, including pre-opening setup and launch support.The Property Manager is responsible for daily operations, sales performance, team leadership, and maintaining a clean, well-run facility. Some travel to Indianapolis may be required for training, manager meetings, and team events. Local travel will be required for marketing, bank and post office, so reliable transportation is required.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Regional Manager with opening a new self-storage facilitySupport pre-opening tasks, operational setup, and launch readinessManage day-to-day property operations after openingMaintain a clean, professional office and propertyWalk the property daily and regularly to identify maintenance or operational issuesHandle tenant questions, requests, and concernsMaximize revenue while controlling expensesAssist with budgeting, reporting, and rent collectionProcess vendor invoices and coordinate repairsHandle phone inquiries, onsite tours, and follow-up with prospectsConduct market surveys and support local marketing effortsQualificationsProperty management, self-storage, retail management, or sales experience preferredNew store or property opening experience a plusStrong customer service, leadership, and sales skillsOrganized, dependable, and detail-orientedComfortable using computer systems and reportsReliable transportation required for travel to training, meetings, and team events.
