Physician Assistant Helper
Responsibilities:Perform routine occupational medicine clinical services including, but not limited to evaluation and treatment of work-related injuries, post-offer physicals, fitness for duty and return to work evaluations, DOT physicals, etc.Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as imaging studies, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.Develop and implement patient plan of care and assist in provision of continuity of care.Maintain medical documentation of patients on EMR and complying with HIPPA guidelines to protect patient data privacy.Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens.Qualifications:A graduate of an accredited Master's Physician Assistant programCurrent National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA) CertificationCurrent Physician Assistant Board State of California LicenseCurrent Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) LicenseCurrent BCLS (CPR/AED) or ACLS CertificationCurrent National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) Certification
