Solar Construction Logistics Lead (100% Travel)

Position SummaryDEPCOM Power is hiring a Solar Logistics Manager to oversee logistics at construction sites, including shipping, delivery of materials, warehousing, inventory management, and reporting. The role requires 100% travel across the U.S. and is based at construction job sites in various weather conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee, manage, and organize all logistics at the construction site including shipping and delivery of materials, laydown yard, inventory, material issuing to crews and subcontractors, and asset management.Conduct regular audits and reporting to ensure materials needed for site teams are accounted for and prevent construction delays.Maintain communication with carriers and suppliers involved in the shipping and delivery process.Ensure deliveries are accurate as ordered and execute shipment transactions to achieve 100% on-time shipment and order fill rate.Supervise a small team that supports logistics functions on site.Partner with subcontractors performing post, racking and electrical tasks to supply necessary material.Monitor site and produce logistics reports.Basic QualificationsPrevious construction experience.Proficient Microsoft Office experience (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Experience in logistics with understanding of planning, material management, and tracking systems.Willingness to travel 100% of the time and work on construction sites.Preferred ExperienceSolar construction logistics superintendent experience.Experience leading teams as a foreman.Compensation$85,000 - $110,000 per year, plus variable pay in the form of a monetary bonus or other incentives.BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, flexible spending and health savings accounts.Life insurance, short-term and long-term disability.Retirement plan.Paid vacation/time off.Educational assistance and optional infertility assistance, paid parental leave, and adoption assistance.Equal Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
