Coverage dates: 9/16-9/24, 10/28-11/5, 1/2-1/7Schedule is 7am to 7am, 24 hour hospital and night callAverage of 10 - 12 patients per dayProcedures: Cancer, Chronic pelvic pain, PAD, renovascular, UFE, varicose veins, venous disease & filters, vertebroplastyTIPS and Kyphoplasty " required, Catheter placements and exchanges (tunneled and non-tunneled catheters), Drain placements including nephrostomy and biliary tubes, Biopsies (Liver, Lung, Kidney, lymph nodes, etc), Arterial interventions such as gastrointestinal and splenic embolizations and peripheral angioplasty, atherectomy, and stenting, Dialysis interventions (catheter placements, declot, fistulograms), IVC filter placements and removal, Paracentesis and thoracentesis, Gastrostomy tube placements and exchanges, enous interventions such as DVT/PE thrombolysisDaily activities: Weekdays 7:30 am until work is done, usually 6-7 pm. Perform all inpatient and outpatient procedures at the hospital (typically 10-16 per day). Perform inpatient consults and approve outpatient referrals. No diagnostic radiology or clinic responsibilitiesWeeknights and Weekend: On-call from home or hotel. Overnight emergent cases are not common, i.e. less than 2-3 time per month. Typically perform 3-6 cases over the weekend that cannot wait until Monday (nephrostomy, drain, dialysis access, etc.)Fluoroscopy certificate requiredACLS and BLS requiredSupport staff is the hospital nurses and techniciansNo supervision of APCs is requiredEpic EMR
