Environmental Technician – 6-Month Contract-to-HireWe are seeking an Environmental Technician for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a growing environmental services organization. This role supports hazardous and non-hazardous waste management operations within an industrial/manufacturing environment and offers strong long-term potential.ResponsibilitiesPerform hazardous and non-hazardous waste pickups and material movement throughout the facilitySupport chemical segregation, packaging, labeling, and shipment preparation activitiesConduct routine inspections and inventories of waste accumulation areasAssist with loading/unloading waste containers and tanker operationsPrepare and maintain waste documentation in accordance with regulatory requirementsSafely handle hazardous materials while utilizing required PPESupport compliance with OSHA, DOT, RCRA, and company safety proceduresCoordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients regarding waste management activitiesProvide support to onsite environmental program leadership as neededRequirementsHigh school diploma and 2+ years of related experience or relevant military backgroundStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentComfortable working in PPE and handling hazardous materialsAbility to lift up to 60 lbs regularlyValid driver’s license and reliable transportationAbility to work overtime and flexible schedules as neededMust be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorshipMust be able to pass background screening, drug testing, and motor vehicle screeningPreferred QualificationsHAZWOPER 24- or 40-hour certificationPrior customer service experienceInterest in obtaining a CDLFlexibility to work occasional non-standard schedulesThis position offers hands-on environmental field experience with the opportunity to transition into a long-term role.  ???????#EEM
