Job Description Electrical Supervisor - Commercial and Industrial Construction - Base Salary to 85k/year - Jessup, MDOur client, a commercial and industrial electrical contractor, is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to oversee field operations across active job sites. This role is responsible for supervising installation, maintenance, and project execution while ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project schedules.This is a travel-based position supporting projects nationwide.Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians and apprentices on commercial and industrial job sitesPlan, assign, and monitor work to ensure projects are completed on time and within scopeInterpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineered drawingsEnsure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codesLead job site safety efforts, including conducting safety meetings and enforcing OSHA standardsCoordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other tradesManage material procurement, job site inventory, and tool/equipment needsTroubleshoot electrical systems and provide technical direction to field personnelMonitor crew productivity, workmanship quality, and adherence to schedulesTrain and mentor electricians and apprentices in field operationsMaintain daily reports, timekeeping, and project documentationSupport project planning, scheduling, and budgeting effortsQualifications:Journeyman or Master Electrician license5+ years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction5+ years of experience in a supervisory, foreman, or lead electrician roleExperience supervising multiple crews on active job sitesStrong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, controls, and industrial equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineered drawingsExperience performing field design and labor/material takeoffsOSHA 30 certificationValid driver's license required for travel between job sitesAbility to travel nationwide for project work (travel schedule may include extended stays)Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local lawsCompensation:Base salary in the 83k - 85k/year rangeMedical, dental, vision insurance401kPTO and paid holidays#INDALL
