This role is fully onsite and plays a critical role in attendance tracking, reporting, and disciplinary administration within a unionized manufacturing environment.Location: Dearborn, MI-OnsiteShift Information:This role supports a rotating 3?crew schedule and requires flexibility across days, nights, and weekends.Crew SchedulesA CrewMonday - Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PMSPOC start time: 5:00 AM (prep before shift)B CrewTuesday - Friday | 6:00 PM - 4:30 AMSPOC start time: 5:00 PM (prep before shift)C CrewFriday & Saturday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PMSunday & Monday | 6:00 PM - 4:30 AMSPOC start time: 1 hour prior to shiftTraining & RotationInitial training occurs on day shift for approximately 3-4 weeksAfter training, assignment moves to B CrewShift rotation occurs once per quarter Compensation & Benefits? Weekly pay through Epitec Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a strong working knowledge of attendance and discipline contract languageInvestigate employee attendance across multiple HR and timekeeping systemsGenerate daily attendance and tardiness reportsLead or support daily attendance meetings with employees and union representationPrepare and administer corrective discipline documentationCorrect and maintain accurate attendance coding (personal days, bereavement, jury duty, FMLA, medical leave, etc.)Partner with line management to close attendance and tardiness issuesAudit and validate attendance and tardiness recordsServe as subject matter expert on attendance policy interpretationMaintain all FMLA documentation and trackingAct as liaison between management, medical, payroll, and labor relationsIdentify opportunities to improve and streamline attendance processesBuild strong working relationships with leadership, union reps, and HR partnersSupport payroll specialist activities as needed Required QualificationsKnowledge of HR policies and HR support processes2+ years experience using Microsoft Office toolsIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skillsAbility to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree (Human Resources or related field)Experience supporting unionized manufacturing environmentsStrong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict?resolution skillsProven ability to multitask in a fast?paced, high?volume settingSelf?starter with strong follow?through and accountability EducationRequired: High School Diploma or GEDPreferred: Bachelor's Degree#Hiring #HRJobs #AdministrativeSupport #HumanResources #UnionExperience#ManufacturingJobs #DearbornMI #OnsiteRole #ShiftWork #W2Contract #PTO #MedicalBenefits #Epitec #LI-KT1 #INDEPI
