Restaurants and Other Eating PlacesTraveler AccommodationChild Care ServicesAmusement Parks and ArcadesOther Residential Care FacilitiesJob DetailsDescriptionJOB SUMMARYOfficially greets and caters to the needs of restaurant customers, hosting, and assisting restaurant staff as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.WAGE RANGE: $14.05-$15.05OPEN UNTIL FILLED: FIRST PULL DATE, MAY 19, 2026Job SummaryOfficially greets and caters to the needs of restaurant customers, hosting, and assisting restaurant staff as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.Essential Job FunctionsEnsure exemplary customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and quality service, graciously greeting guests entering the restaurant.Greets and promptly seats guests, and initiates services for the customer (beverage, menu, specific set-up, etc.).Maintain knowledge of the current menu and/or specials.Take an active role in promoting guest service and advise Steakhouse Managers of guest service issues.Assist with seating arrangements, including moving tables and chairs.Take names for the waiting list.Helps maintain a smooth flow in the dining room between guests and servers.Assist as needed with table bussing, settings, and side work.Handle guest questions/concerns promptly and professionally, deferring disputes/conflicts to the supervisor.Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to the supervisor.Ensure that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior with co-workers.Other related duties as assigned.Promote Quality Service StandardsSAFETY: Ensuring a safe experience by protecting the welfare of all.INTEGRITY: Expecting personal accountability at every level.COURTESY: Creating an exceptional customer service experience for everyone.TEAM: Functioning together to create a cooperative and positive experience.SHOW: Providing flawless experience –a clean and cared-for resort.Minimum QualificationsSix (6) months experience in a position that required exceptional customer relations skills.Effective communication skills-verbally able to provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.Need to stand and/or walk for long periods; perform repetitive motions with wrist, hands, and fingers; lift and maneuver 50 lbs.Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.Requires a criminal history background check.Must be at least 16 years of age.Preferred QualificationsPossess or obtain an OLCC card within 30 days of employment, with permit application submitted by first day of employment.Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment, with permit application submitted by first day of employment.
