This role works closely with HR, HRIS, and operational teams to maintain data integrity, resolve discrepancies, and support payroll-related processes across the organization.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the HRIS team to support onboarding activities, ensuring accurate employee setup and status changes within the payroll systemPartner with the Time and Attendance Coordinator to review employee hours, validate payroll data, and resolve discrepancies prior to processingProcess payroll for hourly employees, including reviewing for accuracy, making corrections, and validating payroll prior to finalizationInvestigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely and accurate mannerRespond to employee payroll inquiries, providing clear and timely communicationEnsure accurate processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and pay rate changesMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, payroll regulations, and company policiesSupport internal and external audits by preparing and providing payroll documentation and recordsAdminister wage garnishments and ensure proper documentation and compliancePerform payroll-related administrative duties and support special projects as assignedProvide general office administrative support as neededWork closely with HR team members to ensure alignment across payroll and employee lifecycle processesQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of payroll experienceAssociate degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong knowledge of payroll processes including preparation, balancing, internal controls, and payroll taxesExperience with payroll and timekeeping systems such as ADP, SAP, and/or UKG preferredHigh level of attention to detail with strong organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalismExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteFPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) designation preferredPhysical Working ConditionsPrimarily office-based role with extended periods of sitting and computer useMay require occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 15 lbs)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, especially during payroll cyclesMinimal travel requiredPerks and BenefitsWant your pay in advance?
