Treating every client as the top priority, we customize our solutions and services to align with the unique needs of each client.Job DescriptionPosition: SQL Server Architect / Application DBALocation: Bridge Water, NJDuration: 6-12 MonthJoining Mode: ContractResponsibilitiesThis SQL Server Application DBA position will be responsible for the writing complex Stored Procedure / SQL queries and also implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of .Net applications. This is a "hands-on" position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Qualifications12+ years MS SQL Server Application database Administration experience requiredSolid experience in writing and improving SQL Server stored procedures and T-SQL queries.Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting toolsUsing Profiler traces and other tools to find the most frequently run queriesUsing free tools like sp_BlitzIndex and DMV queries to answer questions about index usageTroubleshoot SQL Server service outages as they occur, including after-hours and weekendsConfigure SQL Server monitoring utilities to minimize false alarmsAs new systems are brought in-house, choose whether to use clustering, log shipping, mirroring, Windows Azure, or other technologiesInstall and configure new SQL ServersDeploy database change scripts provided by third party vendorsWhen performance issues arise, determine the most effective way to increase performance including hardware purchases, server configuration changes, or index/query changesExperience working with Windows server, including Active DirectoryExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to organize and plan work independentlyAbility to work in a rapidly changing environmentAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.J-18808-Ljbffr
