Job Description Commercial HVAC / Refrigeration Technician (Manufacturing Facility) Location: Parsippany, NJ Job Type: Full-Time 1st Shift Pay: [$35–$45/hour based on experience] Job Overview We are hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC / Refrigeration Technician to support maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and industrial freezers to ensure reliable production and minimal downtime. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, split systems, air handlers, ventilation) Diagnose and maintain refrigeration and freezer systems , including walk-ins and low-temp units Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on HVAC and cooling equipment Identify mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement solutions Support production by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns Maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records (CMMS preferred) Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures What We're Looking For 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, controls) Experience with low- temperature/freezer systems EPA Certification (Universal preferred) Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Experience in manufacturing, food production, or cold storage is a plus Nice to Have Trade school or HVAC certification Experience using a CMMS system Work Environment Industrial / manufacturing setting Exposure to hot and cold environments (including freezer areas) Physically active role (lifting, climbing, standing) Why Join Us Competitive pay overtime opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off holidays Stable, growing company with long-term career opportunities Apply Today If you're a hands-on HVAC technician with refrigeration experience looking for a stable role with long term growth opportunity, we encourage you to apply!
