CNH Cloud Platform Engineer:Cloud Platform Engineer with deep cloud infrastructure and platform engineering expertise to support the design, development, operation, and documentation of the cloud platform powering off-road autonomous and connected vehicle systems. The platform ingests high volumes of sensor and telemetry data, processes that data in real time, and feeds results back into vehicle intelligence and frontend experiences. The engineer will architect scalable cloud infrastructure and write production platform code, with a focus on IoT at scale, distributed systems, developer tooling, higher-throughput machine-to-cloud data flows, and APIs used by client engineering teams. The environment must support machines spanning roughly 20 years of technology generations in the field. AWS is the primary cloud platform, Node.js with TypeScript is the primary development stack, and Datadog is the primary observability platform.Required Qualifications· 6+ years of Cloud Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related experience.· Strong AWS cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and operations experience.· Proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript (preferred) or C# for production platform development.· Advanced Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise.· Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and/or AWS ECS/EKS.· Strong networking fundamentals including VPCs, DNS, load balancing, routing, and security.· Experience building and supporting scalable distributed systems and high-volume data platforms.· Knowledge of event-driven architectures, messaging, and streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.).· Experience developing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and platform tooling.· Strong observability and troubleshooting skills, with Datadog preferred.· Ability to document architecture, operational processes, and technical decisions.· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications· Experience with IoT, telemetry, connected devices, or autonomous vehicle platforms.· Background supporting large-scale cloud environments with long-lived, backward-compatible systems.· Experience building APIs and developer platforms for internal engineering teams.
