Job Summary
Repair/replacement of swimming pool equipment products. Perform swimming pool equipment repairs relating to heaters, filters, pumps, motors, cleaning systems, swimming pool electrical. Knowledge of PENTAIR products are preferred. This position specializes in diagnosing customer equipment needs and repairs. It also requires skilled repairmen who can sell customers on the value of new and better products and the benefits of our 5-year equipment warranties.
Duties/Responsibilities
Perform a variety of skilled equipment repair procedures relating to swimming pool heaters, filters, pumps, motors, cleaning systems, and swimming pool electrical systems
Maintain communication with the office and schedulers to ensure timely repair and maintenance
Keep an accurate van inventory and daily maintenance of the vehicle (check oil and fluid levels)
Complete standard paperwork processes accurately and on time
Maintain an acceptable personal appearance and strong customer focus
Have outstanding people skills and the ability to create astonishing results for our customers
Ability to get in water to replace lights, pop-up heads, etc.
Required Skills
Applicants must have 2+ years of verifiable experience in servicing pool motors, pumps, heaters, electronic controls, and salt chlorination systems. Experience must also include hydraulic and electric troubleshooting skills along with experience working on in floor cleaning systems.
Applicants must supply references verifying industry experience, as well as references for their ability to interact with coworkers, management, and customers positively.
Good verbal and written communication skills
An acceptable MVD license report and clean background check with no prior felony convictions, DWI's or current judgments are required, as you will be operating a company van
Good communication skills with customers and co-workers
Diver Certification a plus but not required
Be willing to work overtime during our busy season or when necessary
