Mitigation Project Manager

Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the construction/ restoration industry, is hiring a Mitigation Project Manager/ Estimator for a leading commercial disaster restoration company located in San Francisco, CA.Compensation and Benefits:Base salary: $80,000-$90,000 (DOE)Eligible for commissionCompany VehicleFull Electronics PackageHealth & Dental InsuranceHoliday and PTO401K after 6 months plus company matchThe Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for restoration projects by providing estimating the scope and cost of the loss; direction and coordination of all field activities related to the mitigation teams and any coordinated subcontracts; and managing the project schedule.Responsibilities:Estimate commercial water, fire, asbestos, mold/environmental, biohazard restoration projectsNegotiate restoration services and some insurance claim settlementsPlan, organize, lead and manage crews on projects from start to finishManage approved subcontractorsEstablish, maintain, and build client relationships through daily communication and site visitsServe on the emergency response team and dispatchPartner with teammate every dayDeliver accurate invoices and support collection effortsAttend all appropriate company and team meetingsAttend regular company sponsored training sessionsAdditional duties required as neededRequirements:5+ years' experience as a project manager, preferably in the restoration industryPreferred restoration certifications including asbestos, lead and moldAbility to manage budgets and schedulesPossess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detail-oriented person)Ability to recognize and solve problems independentlyStrong communication and negotiation skillsSelf-motivated, responsible and accountableMust be able to pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean driving recordKeywords: restoration, project management, Xactimate
