ASSEMBLER - Electronics

Job Description A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.Job DescriptionQualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical/electronicsBasic knowledge and functional understanding of basic electrical and mechanical principles and conceptsAbility to interpret basic electrical schematics and mechanical blueprintsProficiency in the use of power tools - jig saw, horizontal band saw, belt sander, drill, drill press, chop saw, grinderPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:The Electromechanical Assembler is responsible for the electrical or mechanical assemblies involved with the manufacture of pump stations and other systems. Interprets of electrical and mechanical CAD drawings. Assists with process improvements in the pump station and other system manufacturing process. Works to a timeline on multiple projects / orders simultaneously. Typically requires 5+ years of experience.Key responsibilities may include:Actively participating within a team of manufacturing personnel, contributing to the goal of meeting sub-assembly component, & production deadlinesWork autonomously or as a team member to build mechanical and/or electrical sub-assemblies and enclosuresProcure and maintain necessary supplies to support production activitiesLoading PLC and touch screen control softwareIdentify and implement manufacturing process improvements for quality, delivery performance, and throughputTroubleshoot and correct mechanical and electrical malfunctions as neededManage multiple assignments/projects simultaneously and in a timely mannerAssist in developing manufacturing procedures and productivity reports as defined by the Production ManagerProvide leadership, direction, and quality inspection for other assemblersWork with and communicate with Production, Engineering, & Purchasing personnel on a daily basis with regards to scheduling, data, issues, and inventory.Company DescriptionWe're not just a staffing company - we're a people company.
