Job DescriptionMust have experience in Cheese Manufacturing and TPMLead, implement and oversee execution of site strategies, processes, and systems to increase site productivity, safety and associate engagement. Develop leaders to meet current and future business needs. Drive increasing levels of site performance, operating efficiency and customer satisfaction. Lead and improve the site execution as it relates to Full, Fresh, and Friendly. Work in an ever-changing environment that drives strategic thinking with detailed execution and cross functional collaboration across the network. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.ResponsibilitiesLead plant of high-level complexity strategically to align the business, people and safety practices to achieve key metricsApply knowledge of how current technologies, regulations and vendor/supplier dynamics are impacting the businessMaintain and operate plant at established levels of Safety, Quality, and Reliability; ensure high program visibility and effectiveness while adhering to Corporate and division guidelines and standardsUtilize measurement tools and data analytics to deliver overall business planCollaborate with retail partners to improve serviceServe as site representative in dealing with governmental agencies / NGOs, suppliers, and vendorsPrepare annual operating budgetsFollow established programs, policies and practices to produce and/or distribute safe, quality foods and other merchandise that meet regulatory and company requirementsSupport the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of all company systems and processesStrategically manage workforce needs to meet site business objectivesDevelop top talent and oversee succession managementSupervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reportsTravel independently to other site locationsAbility to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environmentAbility to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative mannerAbility to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business informationAbility to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issuesProvide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adultsMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in business related field or equivalent work experienceHACCP CertifiedKnowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)7+ years senior operational leadership in logistics or manufacturing with P&L experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong critical thinking skills, attention to detail and ability to draw conclusionsStrong follow-up and accountability skillsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and peersProficient in Microsoft Office software programsExcellent written, oral and presentation skillsProven ability to lead, train and motivate a team and ability to develop othersDesired Qualifications2+ years experience managing both union and non-union associates4+ years as a general manager in Kroger Supply Chain or similar company in the food industry
