Position: Product Owner / Business Systems Analyst Location: Atlanta, GA Position Type: Long-Term ContractPosition Summary Brooksource is seeking a Product Owner / Business Systems Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity located in Atlanta, GA. This individual will serve as the functional and technical SME for assigned products, partner closely with stakeholders, manage product backlogs, and help drive delivery of scalable solutions aligned to business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop deep functional and technical understanding of assigned applications/productsAct as the primary point of contact and SME for supported platformsGather, analyze, and document business and technical requirementsBuild, refine, and prioritize product backlogs to maximize business valueTranslate high-level business needs into detailed features and user storiesDefine acceptance criteria and validate completed work against requirementsConduct stakeholder demos and communicate product priorities to delivery teamsRecommend testing strategies for features, stories, and product enhancementsTroubleshoot and support complex production issues and escalationsProvide Tier 2 application support, including participation in on-call rotationsDrive process improvements and operational efficienciesCollaborate cross-functionally with business, product, and technical teamsManage or contribute to large-scale projects and initiativesRequired Qualifications6–8+ years of relevant experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or related rolesStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExperience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing backlogsAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsExperience supporting enterprise applications and resolving production issuesProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferredPreferred ExperienceExperience leading cross-functional initiatives or large enterprise projectsBackground in Agile environments and product delivery methodologiesPrior experience mentoring, coaching, or leading team membersExposure to operational planning, process improvement, or project managementAdditional DetailsHybrid schedule preferredOn-call support rotation required for priority production issuesLimited travel may be requiredOpportunity to support critical enterprise business applications in a collaborative environment
